For those who use the Akinada Bridge with cash, if you spend a total of 1,000 yen or more at designated facilities within the Akinada Tobishima Kaido area, you can exchange it for a multi-use pass for the Akinada Bridge at a multi-use pass issuing facility (hereinafter referred to as the issuing facility).

1. Use cash to travel on the Akinada Ohashi Toll Road. *Please be sure to get a receipt.
2. Make a purchase of 1,000 yen or more at a designated facility and receive a receipt or invoice. *Please have the invoice stamped with a "designated facility confirmation stamp" as proof that you made the purchase at the designated facility.
3. Present the receipt for the Akinada Ohashi Toll Road and the receipt (receipt) from the designated facility at the issuing facility and exchange it for a return ticket . *Please note that the toll booth is not an issuing facility.
4. You can then hand over the ticket you exchanged at the issuing facility at the toll booth and leave.

Can I get my original receipt back?

As the purpose of this project is to promote tourism, we cannot return original receipts or invoices.
This offer does not apply to those using the facility for financial expenses.

Does this also apply to mid-sized cars?

No. The vehicles subject to this tax exemption are those specified in the "Standard Vehicles" and "Light Vehicles, etc." sections of Appendix 2 of the "Hiroshima Prefectural Road Corporation Toll Road Toll Collection Regulations" applicable to the Akinada Ohashi Toll Road.
The main targets are regular cars, light cars, and motorcycles over 125cc.

Can I exchange a receipt for a ticket at the toll booth?

No. You must exchange the receipt for a coupon ticket at a facility designated by Kure City.
If you go to the toll booth without exchanging the ticket at the issuing facility, please return to the issuing facility or pay in cash.

An increasing number of people are going to the toll gate without exchanging their receipt at the issuing facility, saying, "I was told I could pass if I showed my receipt." You cannot pass through the toll gate without exchanging your receipt for a coupon ticket, so be sure to exchange your coupon ticket at the issuing facility.

Can I exchange multiple receipts from the Akinada Bridge and one receipt from a designated facility for multiple tickets?

It is replaceable.
(Example) Two Akinada Bridge receipts and one designated facility receipt for a total of 2,000 yen or more can be exchanged for two tickets. *This is only applicable if the user passes over the bridge in multiple vehicles. It does not apply if the user passes over a single vehicle.

If the total amount of receipts from two or more facilities is over 1,000 yen, can I exchange them for a coupon ticket?

It is replaceable.
(Example) X store receipt 500 yen and Y store receipt 700 yen (total 1,200 yen)

Can I exchange discount receipts for people with disabilities, etc.?

Discount receipts for people with disabilities are also eligible.

If I use a cashless payment method (such as PayPay, which does not issue a receipt), can I exchange it for a coupon ticket?

Yes, you can. In that case, please ask the store to issue you a handwritten receipt and stamp it with a designated facility confirmation stamp.

If I lose my Akinada Bridge receipt or don't get one at the toll booth, can I exchange it for a multi-ride ticket?

Since there is no proof that you used the Akinada Bridge with cash, you cannot exchange the ticket at the issuing facility.

Is there a deadline for issuance?

Yes. The deadline for issuance is within 7 days from the date of cash use at the Akinada Bridge or consumption at a designated facility, whichever comes first.
(Example 1) In the case of a receipt for the Akinada Bridge dated August 1st and a receipt for a designated facility dated August 3rd, the earlier date of August 1st is the applicable date and the deadline for issuance is August 7th.
(Example 2) In the case of a receipt for the Akinada Bridge on August 1st and a receipt for a designated facility on July 31st
⇒The earliest date in question is July 31st, and the deadline for issuance is August 6th.

What should I do if I am unable to exchange my ticket for a coupon ticket within the Akinada Tobishima Kaido area?

You will have to pay the toll for the bridge on the way back, but you can exchange your receipt for a coupon ticket at the issuing facility (Kure City Tourist Information Center) outside the Akinada Tobishima Kaido area and use it for your next sightseeing trip in the Akinada Tobishima Kaido area. (Coupons have no expiration date.)
*Many issuing facilities are closed in the evening, so if you are unable to exchange your card during opening hours, please use the method above.
