The Kure Maritime Self-Defense Force Curry and Kure Gourmet Festa 2024, where you can taste Kure gourmet food from over 50 stores, including Kure Maritime Self-Defense Force curry, Kure Navy cuisine, and Kure oysters, will be held again this year at the mooring shed of the Kure Maritime Self-Defense Force's Kure Base.
There will also be stage events such as a talk show by Mizuki Nishimura of the comedy duo Baiking, who is well known from TV Shin-Hiroshima's "Nishimura Campsite," as well as a "Kure JMSDF Curry Buffet" where customers can try four different types of Kure JMSDF curry on a ticketed basis, and public openings of the ships.

Compare and try different curries! Kure JMSDF Curry Buffet
We will be holding a "Kure JMSDF Curry Buffet" where you can choose 4 types of curry from 22 booths! Tickets (4 tickets: 1,500 yen) will be sold on the day.
(Includes a pin badge commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Kure JMSDF Curry Project; limited to 2,000 sets; reservations not accepted)

Ships open to the public
The ships belonging to the Kure Base will be open to the public. This is your chance to enjoy the impressive ships of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force up close, which you rarely get to see!
Viking Nishimura also appears! A spectacular stage program
The stage program is packed with exciting and spectacular events, including a talk show by Viking Nishimura!
There will also be a special curry booth designed by Viking Nishimura!
A special curry invented by Nishimura on the popular TSS program "Nishimura Campsite" will be sold for a limited time of 200. Nishimura himself will also be at the booth!
My Kure Digital Stamp Rally is being held!
A digital stamp rally will be held for Kure City's tourism and regional promotion app, "My Kure."

- Upon entering, you will be subject to baggage inspection. If any dangerous items are found in your baggage, you will not be allowed to enter the base.
- Pets (including cages) will not be allowed entry.
